I once helped a little boy learn how to say /k/. Because of his articulation difficulties, my student could not say his brother's name, which was Kevin. So, instead of calling his brother "Kevin," he made up the nickname "Bobby." During one speech session, my student got so excited because he finally learned how to pronounce the name "Kevin." He went home, and told his brother, "I know how to say your name! It's k-k-k-k-Bobby!"
