I was conducting school-wide hearing screenings. It had been pretty routine until I pulled in one particular boy from kindergarten. I gave him the instructions, conducted the screening, and he performed perfectly. I took off his head phones, and he turned around and said, "Mrs. Day, I think you may need to turn that thing up a little bit."
