For the past six years I have made a Better Hearing and Speech Month quiz for my faculty. I have a few prizes, we all have fun, and everyone learns a little more about our profession. This year, after a very long day, I left my room to put the quizzes in the teachers' mailboxes. I realized halfway there that I had forgotten the quizzes. As I turned to walk back to my room a second and a third grade teacher joined me as they were walking to the parking lot. I told them, "I forgot why I was going to the lounge!" The second grade teacher responded, "Are you ADD?" I said, "No, I'm O-L-D." The third grade teacher immediately said, "What is that?" We said, "old!", to which she just shook her head and said, "I thought it was another acronym!"
