While working in a public school I was meeting with kindergarten children who'd been referred by their teachers for possible speech disorders. One little boy came with me very eagerly after he overheard me tell his teacher I'd take him for a screening. When we were finished I gave him a sticker, but he stayed in his seat with a confused look on his face. "When do I get to do my screaming?" he asked.
